Description: Ebastel solution is a medication containing ebastine 5 mg/5ml, which is a non-sedating antihistamine with a long duration of action. Unlike other antihistamines, ebastine does not have significant sedative effects. It is primarily used for the symptomatic relief of allergic conditions, including rhinitis (inflammation of the nasal passages) and pruritic (itchy) skin disorders. When taking Ebastel, it can be consumed with or without food, as per personal preference. The usual recommended dose for adults is 10-20 mg once daily. For children aged 6 years and above, the typical dose is 5 mg once daily. Certain precautions should be observed when using Ebastel. It is contraindicated in individuals who are hypersensitive or allergic to ebastine or any of the ingredients present in the formulation.
